I have an Acer E5-575. It only has 1 HDMI port. I'm trying to connect dual monitors to allow me to stretch my display over both monitors. My monitors don't have any HDMI ports. The monitors are HP EliteDisplay E201.  They have VGA, DVI and Display Port.  Is there any product I can get, docking station, plugs, cables, adapters, splitters etc, that will allow me to do this?  I'm not very tech savvy, so don't understand specs and such.
Please help.....I have tried to find a solution, but keep hitting brick walls.
Thanks!

That's because it's impossible to run two independent displays from one output. You can get a HDMI to DVI splitter but both screens will be a duplicate.

You could run one monitor over VGA and one over HDMI to DVI, but that's it.

Thank you!!  So to make sure I understand, if I get a HDMI to Display Port adapter (HDMI is from the laptop) to DP with 2 DP outputs (to the monitors) , I can't use that to connect both monitors to the DVI ports to use the extended display on both monitors?  I found the equipment online, but don't want to order if it it will still only mirror the display instead of extend it.

Here's the products I'm looking at...
