I was playing GTA 5 and then I noticed that the game was lagging when the charger was not plugged in. The game runs smooth only when I plug in the charger. How can I fix this? I have Acer Predator Helios 300

    Good Morning sarvesh1050 !

Mobile device architecture is different from desktop architecture.
On laptops, maximum performance is only achieved when the device is plugged into a power outlet and set to the Windows power options for "High Performance."
A battery can not provide enough power for maximum system performance.

So if your intention is to play, you must perform this setup and always plug it into the socket.

Gaming PCs and other PCs with dedicated graphics use the graphics card only while plugged in because GPU needs huge power supply. Still, if you want to play, simply go to GeForce Experience -> Settings -> Games -> Either turn off battery boost or move the slider to 60FPS.

You can use GeForce Experience to enable "Battery Optimizations" which sets graphics and FPS to a lower point to increase longevity of the battery.

Once unplugged enable battery optimizations and use the "Optimize" feature on your game list page.
