Hi, I recently bought a Swift 3 SF314-54-33C7 with specs i3 7th gen, 4gb ram and 1tb hdd.

Can I upgrade the ram? The sales guy I talked to when I bought it said it should have 1 ram slot available but I just wanted to confirm.

Can I also upgrade it with an ssd? M.2 preferably.

Your laptop has 8GB RAM, upgradable up to 12GB, so this model comes with 4GB on-board memory and a replaceable 4GB module, you have to replace the 4GB with a 8GB module to make up the total of 12GB.
This model has a M.2 slot which is compatible with Optane memory, M.2 NVMe SSD or a M.2 SATA SSD.

Awesome thanks! Is there like any instructions on how I can replace both? Can't find any online.

Also, if I do add a m.2 ssd and use it for the OS. How will I be able to reactivate my windows 10 since I'll be reinstalling it on the ssd?

Take a back of the OS in a flash drive from the Acer care center and reinstall in on the other .
