Hi all,

my N50-600 desktop (Part Number: DG.E0MEQ.016) came with a 256 GB SSD (Kingston rbu-sns8154p3/256gj1) as the C-drive. It seems to be a SATA drive.
I would like to upgrade it to 512 GB (or even 1 TB) NVMe SSD, like e.g. Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus NVMe M.2 500GB

But this discussion hints that there might be a 256 GB limit for the SSD system drive size: https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/549113/nitro-n50-how-to-migrate-to-and-choose-an-ssd
Is there such a limit, or are there succesful upgrades to 512 GB or 1 TB NVMe SSD?

    Hi.

It is compatible, the capacity does not make a hard drive incompatible, and less in a computer like yours, the restrictions usually come from the bios, and this is not the case.

    A greeting.
