Heat Issues

My Predator 500 seems to have the CPU heat up quicker than usual, and stays in a range of 140 Fahrenheit - 180 degrees Fahrenheit. I'm thinking the thermal paste on the processor might be not as effective as it once was. Any insight is greatly appreciated. As I'm typing this, I just opened it up from sitting for 2 hours and the CPU is as 177 degrees Fahrenheit.

Hi when it comes to cpu/gpu temps we only use degree celsius to measure it and on stock 60 to 80 seems ok to me (while gaming or performing really demanding tasks) but just doing nothing demanding its not normal you can optimize your windows and also undervolt the cpu and gpu if needed and if you feel you still have issues you can repaste with kryonaut or other similar assuming you can open it without voiding your warranty this all depends if you have seals that you would have to break or if the shop/seller allows you to open it as they have their own warranty policies and also depends on each country
