Good evening, I tried to exchange my processor, a Celeron B815, for an I3-2330m, which, after much research, I concluded that it was compatible with my processor. The notebook turns on and works normally for a few minutes, then freezes, and the only alternative I have is to restart it. I monitored the processor temperature using the HWInfo software, and it never exceeded 60 ° C, when I put my Celeron back in, everything works normally. The BIOS version is the latest version (v 1.06) found in Acer's download area for my notebook, I have tried to change the memory, but it did not work either. Has anyone ever performed a similar upgrade on this notebook, and had a problem similar to mine?

Your BIOS may not be able to handle I3 hyperthreading. Does freezing happen if you're not running tasks or the machine is running idle? Jack E/NJ
