I have a Acer V 17 Nitro-Black Addition which is a few years old now.
Running Up to date Windows 10
For a while now everything will be running fine then all of a sudden my mouse starts freezing and becomes  erratic, I have tried a new USB mouse and it still does the same.
This does not happen on a daily basis but happens a lot.
The Touch Pad works fine when the mouse misbehaves .
I am not to technical when it comes to computers but no enough to get by and I would appreciate any help from you Guys/Girls who know a lot more about technically than myserlf.
Thanks Colin

    • Right click Start
    • Select Device Manager
    • Locate Mice and other pointing devices
    • Collapse the list and choose your touchpad
    • Right click on the touchpad you’re using (or mouse)
    • Click on HID-compliant mouse and uninstall it and than restart your laptop

    mouse moves erratically fix

    If still dont work try
power drain: Just check the back of the unit, you can find a pin hole , unplug the charger and turn off the unit. now put a paper clip in the small pin hole and press and hold it for 30 sec.
Than you can try changing the USB port as well

I have done the first solution and plugged mouse back in once I have restarted,
I will see how it runs for a couple of days fingers crossed.
If needed I will try the other possible solution and will let you know if it works or not.
    Thanks.
