I bought my acer aspire es-14 (brand new) last month. Recently my laptop keeps freezing after 30mins-1hour of using it. When I'm listening to music, it makes a buzzing sound too and then freezes.
My system is updated and I'm using my laptop for just research and emails.

Please perform power drain by following the below steps to fix the buzzing sound.

1.Unplug the AC adapter from your notebook.
2.Turn the notebook and look for battery reset pin hole.
3.insert the paper clip and hold it for 30 - 40 seconds.
4.Turn over the notebook one last time and plug in your AC adapter.
    5.Turn on your notebook.

If the above steps does not work then try the steps below.

    1. Access device manager ( Press and hold Windows + X to launch quick settings and select device manager )
    2. Go to Audio drivers and uninstall the driver ( DO NOT DELETE THE DRIVER SOFTWARE )
    3. restart the device

    Hello Ivy,

I have same experience but not for long, also so slow handing multi task programs in same time. After I upgrade RAM from 2 GB factory standard to 6 GB, it become mush better than before.
