Hi to all!

I have a Predator Helios 500, with i7-8750H CPU and GTX 1070 GPU .

I would like to know:
1.Which temps are ideal for the CPU/GPU/system at idle?
2.Which temps are ideal for the CPU/GPU/system at high load?

Please tell me.

Thanks in advance.

    Good afternoon predatorofman Po!

    Answering your questions:

The idle tenors vary according to each system (softer ones that are running in the background, active services, other teeth).
    There is no right temperature.
    Ideally, the lower the better.

As for the temperature in load, I will pass the maximum safe temperatures:

    i7-8750H: TJunction 100 ° C
    GTX 1070 GPU: 94 ° C

So keep in mind that any value below said is safe, but the idea is to keep it as low as possible.

Using a good base with a cooler is a great option.

The maximum Temp the unit can work is at 98 Celsius . If the unit gets vert hotter than that it will shut down by itself.

The following symptoms may be indicators of a system that is overheating and requires repair:

    1. System shut downs due to high temperatures.
    2. System components reaching temperatures that are too hot to touch.
    3. Extended periods of operation where the temperature is greater than 98 degrees Celsius. This does not include temporary spikes in temperature.

@predatorofman optimizing windows and undervolting/repasting improves a lot H500 has the best cooling system around so just optimizing windows and maybe undervolting should be more than enough to keep the temps lower follow the links in my signature if youre interested in learning how to get your H500 to the best performance

After I set the GTA V video settings on most ultra, the CPU reached 75 degrees. Celsius for a short time, and the fans worked loudly.

For how much time can I play a game with that temperature without damaging of the CPU?

If this temperature stays stable you can play quietly.
Just make sure you are not reaching the value close to the TJunction of maximum safe TDP that is 100 ° C.
Anyway, I would advise you to get a cooler base with a cooler.

The acceptable CPU temperature is 85C average and the acceptable GPU max temperature is 83C(the GPU begins to throttle more after passing 83C). 75C is way below 85C on the CPU, so there is nothing to worry about. The CPU is able to work at 98C without causing any short-term damage, but shortens the CPU's lifespan(for example instead for working for 6 years it will work for 5). Same applies for the GPU.

To reduce the CPU's temperature you can set the CPU preset to MAX from predator sense, which automatically applies -125mV undervolt, which will improve the CPU's temperature even further.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

With that temp as long as u want those are pretty good temps for the cpu while playing on ultra but as i said above if you still notice high temps the last resort would be repaste
