It really bugs me when I'm in the dark and my backlight turns off and as soon as I type, I press the wrong button.

Right now, the backlight automatically times out at 30sec to save battery. Can we get control over this? can i choose if i wanna save battery or not? and not forced in this 30sec timeout?
there are times that i want my backlight to be permanently ON because I cant see.
I chose this laptop also because it has backlight and I can see the keys in the dark, right now this is more of a burden than a feature like you call it to be.

Unfortunately, there is no way to control the timing of the backlight. It will stay constantly on while the laptop is plugged in, but that doesn't apply to BIOS 1.22v.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
