19 volt operation

Hello

My first post on this board, so hope I don't upset anyone!

Recently I have been looking for a 21/22 inch monitor to use on a boat with a 24 volt supply.  Since my laptop runs on 19 volts, I thought it best to have a monitor on the same voltage( there being no mains supply at sea.)

Last week in a shop I looked at several Acer monitors that all seemed suitable. Today they are not there! and no-one cares. Now I can't find one on this website that has a mains adaptor producing 19 volts, although I accept that I haven't looked at every one in the range.

I have a converter for 19 volts, so that is not a problem.

It just seems that every new monitor has a mains lead plugged in the back or is residual out of date stock. Anyone got any bright ideas please- bearing in mind that the monitor often operates in bright sunlight. Other than that, if it will show a movie that would be a bonus.

Thanks

Mike
