I have purchased SF315-52-56M3 and would like to upgrade RAM and install an HDD 2.5.

First, with regard to the RAM upgrade, I have received confusing information from Acer. In one email, they said that RAM is not upgradeable. However, when I sent them the link of the datasheet of this model online (https://www.acer.com/datasheets/2018/4876/SF315-52/NX.GZ9EK.004.html), they said the RAM is upgradeable.

Could you pleased someone confirm whether the RAM is upgradeable or not?

Second, there is an empty bay in this model for a 2.5 HDD. Could you please advise what kind of connector do I need to install a second hard drive in this bay?

Thank you.

If you don't have the service manual, how did you know that I can upgrade RAM for this specific model?

In case someone is interested to know how much does it cost to get the cable, bracket and screws to use the HDD empty bay. Here is a screenshot from Acer UK. The total cost is £33. You an get a 1TB WD hard drive on Amazon for £38.
