This temperatures seem entirely normal to me!!!! What is the problem? 174*F is only 79*C. And 116*F is only 47*C. Jack E/NJ

A 100*C or 94*C peaks don't mean much if it's obviously not throttling, freezing or shutting off. Built-in safeguards will let you know if averages are too high. Are you actually experiencing any throttling, freezing or shutting off under heavy loads? Jack E/NJ

And again i say fortnite and pubg are not optimized games they have the poorest optimization i had ever saw in a game due to that everyone has high temps and as the devs do not care they are useless games to me so not good to test any temps on any laptop/pc if you want to test your real temps please test it using a proper optimized game not one of those

Ok if you done it all you need to repaste with a good non conductive thermal paste like kryonaut or other with similar specs

If you don't have any warranty seals you could do it yourself but u better check with acer support first if your warranty would be voided if you open it for ex to upgrade the ssd it all depends on the country/shop you bought it anyway try to inform yourself properly before you try anything yourself and if any doubts always send it back to the shop where you bought it or acer repair center for a repaste also ask if they could use the thermal paste you want if you bought it yourself and send it to them to be applied and the most important always backup everything before you send it

If you really want to know if its a thermal issue just stress test cpu/gpu with aida64 and check you temps (if it shuts down during stress test it's definitely a thermal issue) also userbenchmark doesn't mean too much (it's not very reliable because it won't give you same results if you do it second or 3rd time i tried it and it's miles out) the real benchmarks are taken with either 3dmark(firestrike)/pcmark and unigine (heaven full tessellation) and for a proper benchmark all the background apps/services that can be disabled/closed should (as long as you are sure you can close/stop them) because they interfere with the performance of the benchmark
