Helios 300 17" Keyboard issue

All of a sudden some of the keys of the laptop's keyboard stopped working. They only work if I press really hard. I tried uninstalling the keyboard device as it was suggested in similar threads but it changed nothing. Funnily enough this happened a month after the one year warranty expired. I saw that this is a common issue and putting some extra pressure with tape at the keyboard ribbon cable fixes it. Can someone point me to which ribbon cable on the m/b is the keyboard one so that I can attempt a DIY? Also how come the warranty is only a year despite my country being in the EU (UK, at least for now) which supposedly requires a minimum of 2 years? Is there a claim I could do there?

In the below picture you can see where the keyboard wire connected and in order to check warranty status on you laptop check the below link and enter the SNID or the Serial number from you unit

Hi @Jack22 Predator PH317-51-787X is the product number as it appears at the bottom of my laptop, hopefully that is the one you require, but tell me if not. I applied small pressure at the bottom side of my laptop to test and it seems to have even fixed the issue for now btw. Would that help identifying what the underlying issue is?

@Jack22 The link you provided is probably for US only, so it doesn't give me any warranty info. I have tried a different UK one, but I couldn't find any mention of warranty. For whatever reason the problem is gone for now. I will save that image for future reference though! Thanks a lot for the help!0

I am also having the issue where several keys on my Predator Helios 300 have stopped working. I tried the various software solutions offered online, but none resolved the issue. I opened up the back of the laptop to see if the issue is related to the keyboard ribbon being loose, but as far as I can tell it appears to be tightly connected, as shown in the photo I took (original is here).
@Jack22 can you tell from the photo whether I should try removing the keyboard ribbon and then re-taping it down again? I'm new to this, so wanted to see if I could get some advice first. Thanks!

Was the problem solved? or Is it that replacement is the only solution?
