Using an external G-Sync Monitor with Acer Predator Helios 300?

Is is possible to use V-Sync with an Acer Laptop? Since I do not have the 'display' controls in the Nvidia Control Panel I figured that the HDMDI/Display Port/Type-C ports on my laptop are connected to the iGPU and not the dGPU. I also heard that in some laptops often the type c port could be linked to the dGPU.

Is there any way I could use G-Sync on a Monitor connected to my laptop?

Thanks in Advance.

    My laptop is indeed ph315-51.
Does this mean that the HDMI is connected to my Nvidia GPU?
So hypothetically, if so, I'll be able to use a G-Sync Monitor?

P.S.: Where did you get this information from?

    Thanks

Update: I might be in luck.
I plugged my laptop through HDMI on a friend's monitor (Not G-Sync) and the display settings magically pop-up in the Nvidia Settings.

Yes, the hybrid platform means the port is via the discrete GPU chip, not the CPU integrated graphics. Jack E/NJ

Gsync is not supported via HDMI, only through DP, but that is partcially true. Now that Nvidia has decided to enable adaptive sync on their GPUs, which is called Gsync might work over HDMI, because adaptive sync is supported on HDMI. It might work with some monitors and not with others(the ''true' Gsync), because after all the 'true' Gsync monitors support Gsync on DP only.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

I could try using a type c to display port adapter but I do not know if the type c port is connected to the dGPU like the HDMI.
    Could you look into it?

    Thank YOu

Sorry no, it's essentially the same as a plain vanilla USBA3 capability. No DP.  Jack E/NJ

I am afraid your screenshot could be wrong, my type C port does support power off usb charging mode.

Not unusual, some hardware changes or optional cost extras may be made available in later production runs.  Jack E/NJ
