Left hinge issue

My Acer laptop has split at the left hinge and has cracked the screen. This is the second Acer I have had that this has happened. I had assumed with the first one it was something I may have done, but now I know this one has been handled with the utmost care, never leaving my desk and reading all of the comments of others with the exact same issue. My laptop is 4 or 5 years old, but still was in perfect condition until this. Just wanted to let you know since I see you are doing nothing for others. I will go out and buy a new one and it won't be an Acer, if you clearly have an issue and choose to do nothing about it.

Sorry. Laptop hinges and video cables therein are notoriously leverage-vulnerable to opening/closing the lid too much. Screen replacements aren't that expensive and hinge enclosures can be fortified with epoxy like JBWeld. Jack E/NJ
