I recently got a preadator MNT xb281hk. I use an HDMI cable to connect my PC to my display and whenever I switch between fullscreen mode and desktop mode on an application, the "HDMI" input notice will appear briefly on the screen and my audio will cut out while it's transitioning (I play my speakers through the headphone port on the display). I have never had a display that did this before. It's not a huge problem, except sometimes when I switch to my desktop view, the display will not cut back on, and the button will be amber-colored, as if it does not detect any input signal.
On top of this, if my computer is asleep and my display is on (amber light on power button), waking up my computer will not wake up my display, and I need to hit a button on the monitor to wake it up. I haven't had a monitor that needed me to do that, either.
My HDMI output on my PC is an Nvidia GeForce GT 710
Thanks for any insight you can provide
