Seems to me one of the power cut switches it's not getting pressed properly  a lot of the new laptop models have emergency power cut switches in specific places to avoid short citcuit when you dissasemble it usually in the ram door compartment there is always one, but you should give more info model number and specs in order to be able to get more help with this issue, i would check/recheck all pressure switches and make sure they have anough pressure and aren't triggering.

Thanks for posting you specs if you have the time check all the presure switches you can find and see if any of those are not being properly pressed i would give more info on the exact points but i do not have access to any of the shematics to be able to but as i said seems to me the issue might be that also try a battery pinhole reset for 30s let it rest from 5 to 10 mnts and boot it to see if u can at least get into the bios to reset default setup good luck

Well if after u tried everything u still cant boot up and if you are still on warranty send it to acer for repair/replacement it might be a faulty mobo if you are out of warranty i would still contact acer for them to try to diagnose the issue the best way possible

Re-install all the screws into the bottom of the laptop (Putting it back together 100%) then try turning it on.
Like @xapim said there is a safety switch that must be pressed on the bottom and the bottom plastic part of the laptop presses this button down.
(Its a small switch located near the RAM)

I would recommend to re-check RAM, switch them in slots, mb try to start with 1 RAM plugged. I had almost the same issue, and it appeared that the RAM was not properly installed.
