Hello,
I was offered a helios 300. This one comes from Germany and I'm french.
The keyboard does not match because it is a QWERTZ.
Acer can sell me a French AZERTY keyboard.
I am looking for a little help for the disassembly of the PC to replace the keyboard. Photo or video if possible to help me.
I have already opened another pc but this one is new so I prefer to have information rather than breaking clips!
thank you

So if I understood correctly, on the helios 300, it is necessary to dismount the bottom, the hard disks, the RAM, the motherboard ... to finally reach the keyboard which is clipped in the upper part of the box.

    Correct

Gee. And here I always thought breaking plastic retaining clips, catches and tabs was a normal part of the disassembly process. =)   About all the service info that's available or you'll find for these Helios 300 models on separating the upper case with the keyboard is found in the bottom part of this link for installing 2 HDDs. https://us.answers.acer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/46866/~/hard-drive-installation-instructions-for-predator-helios-300-laptops. Most of the time, a few credit cards are strong enough to use as both pry tools and wedges to keep the catches from re-attaching as you work your way around the upper and lower case. Using anything stronger, like a putty knife, sometimes but not always results in broken catches. No big deal because that's why all the screws are used to hold things together. Jack E/NJ

As far as i know the universal keyboards everywhere were qwerty not azerty (old typewriter keyboards) but ok the H300 ots pretty easy to disassemble you will only need to have a basic disassembling phone kit regarding the keyboard i only repasted mine but i think in order to get the keyboard out you would have to strip everything out mobo included as i haven't seen any screws for the keyboard like all other acer aspires i have so i assume the mobo has to come out in order to get the keyboard out someone correct me if i'm wrong

Nope. Most KBs just snap into place. No screws. Just plastic clips molded into the KB assembly and upper case. Jack E/NJ

    Correct
So that means what i said earlier is absolutely correct we have to get the mobo out in order to get to the keyboard to unclip it because its inserted from the bottom up not from up to bottom as i can confirm on my G3-572 thanks for the clarification on this subject @Red-Sand :)
