Hello i recently purchased a new gaming laptop everything was fine for 1 month now i'm having stutters mid game in all the games i play. I updated my BIOS and intel firmware and made sure to reinstall NVIDIA drivers however i'm still facing this issue. Can anyone tell me why my GPU hit 0% instantly then climbing back up to a ideal %.

Could you post your exact model and specs and when you updated your nvidia drivers did you did a clean install and after that went into nvcp and set the nvidia gpu as the default gpu and/or also per app/game if so try a battery pinhole reset for 30s let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes then boot into bios and load setup defaults to see if the issue still persists after that i recommend using the Acer nvidia stock drivers as these were customized by Acer for best performance unless you are playing BF5 which requires minimum 416 to work in fact i recommend using all Acer stock drivers and optimizing windows i noticed you are on almost 88 on cpu does it throttle ? not all cpu's are the same some only throttle after 90-95 but some may do it on lower temps which will affect performance/fps just in case you noticed that you can try to undervolt it and if the issue still persists the best solution its to repaste it with a good thermal paste like kryonaut or another with similar specs anyway hope any of this helps
