My helios 300 is having some issues staying on

I got this laptop about six months ago from Amazon, and I've had a fair bit of issues with it, but nothing that was easily solvable, either with some OS tinkering or with a battery reset. But now I'm having an issue that is kinda weird, the laptop won't turn on with the power button alone, I need to press is and then press anything else on the keyboard. After that, if I stop pressing a key for 5 to 10 seconds the unit will either just turn off without a warning, just poof a black screen and no fan sounds, or it will prompt me the Acer power button menu, where if I don't input anything the laptop will shut down by itself. I now find my self constantly spamming 9 on the numpad to keep my laptop awake. Sometimes I get a few minutes of free time, where I don't need to press anything but eventually, the power button menu will show up or it will snap off that fast. Any ideas what could be happening or how to fix it? (already tried some BIOS stuff and battery reset but I am open to every suggestion.)

Try to reset battery pinhole for at least 30 seconds leave it to rest for 5 to 10 minutes to completely discharge try to boot it if possible go to bios reset to defaults and see if it improved if not u might have to send it to warranty as it might be faulty and also post your exact model and full specs for better assistance

yeah so update, I figured while fidgeting in razer synapse, that whenever I input anything on the keyboard it also shows an f24 input. I also discovered that on this laptop the power button is f24. I tried the battery reset for 30 seconds solution once again but to no avail.
