is it good to leave my acer aspire E 15 laptop plugged in and in sleep mode all day and only shut down it at night?

    You have just finished off something on your laptop and again after half an hour you need to get back to some unfinished work, then yes sleep mode is good to bear with. My point is when the time span is short, you can put your laptop in sleep mode.
    Don't go for sleep mode, because the shut down button is there for a reason. Shutting down a system is always recommended and preferable as it refreshes the entire system, the processor cores, network, HDD, RAM memory management, etc.

    That is only if fast start-up is disabled.
    Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

    Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
