Trying to disable the printing of notifications of updates to my HP printer

HP tell me I need to go to Printers and Devices then to HP UPD, but I can't find Printers and Devices - I can find Printers, but then I can't find HP UPD under this - anyone any ideas where i go please

    Don't worry about upd. Can you see the HP in the printers section or not? If you can see the HP printer, right click on it. In the box that pops up, left click properties. Click on settings tab. In install options, disable notifications. Jack E/NJ

    Thanks Jack. I can see HP in the printers section, but right clicking on it doesn't do anything.  AS you'll know with the chromebook I don't actually have a right button to click, but i am clicking on the right hand side of the pad which I believe should do the same thing, but as I say nothing happens. I can see all the details about the printer - serial no, update version, ink levels, printer id, model no etc etc, but not properties or settings.

    I think you right click by using 2 fingers. If not, try a USB mouse. Jack E/NJ
