    1. Go to Windows settings and select Privacy
    2. Select Microphone and switch on the “Allow apps to access your microphone” toggle.
    3. Restart those applications where you’ve wanted to use the microphone.
If the above steps dont work than try to uninstall the sound driver and restart your unit and check

power drain: Just check the back of the unit, you can find a pin hole , unplug the charger and turn off the unit. now put a paper clip in the small pin hole and press and hold it for 30 sec.
BIOS default: After power drain is done, power on the unit, but as soon as you power on the unit keep pressing the F2 key so that it take you to BIOS page. Press F9 and press Enter than press F10 and press Enter. the unit will restart

@Nebir with a paper clip, needle etc anything that would fit the hole but press it gently or you might damage the very sensitive switch because if you do it might create serious issues

@Nebir you will be fine just press it not too hard and keep it pressed tha switch its a kill/reset switch kills the power completely from the AC and battery but you have to be on battery only to perform the battery power drain

Another reason for a 'microphone problem' is that it is simply muted or the volume set to a minimum. To check, right-click the speaker icon in the Taskbar and select "Recording devices". Select the microphone (your recording device) and click "Properties". ... See if the microphone problem persists.

Nebir yes the battery powerdrain can be used to fix the most common issues but for other more complicated issues the stock recovery clean install its the way to go to rule out any software issues as you can see here if after a clean install the issue persists you can assume its a hardware issue and send it back
