Why does my laptop make this sound? #CommunityHelp

So, I purchased a Predator Helios 500, and whenever I plug-in or unplug my laptop from the AC adapter, it makes this rather loud BEEP noise. Why does this happen? I've heard people saying its some kind of a notification mechanism to let us know that the power delivery method of the laptop has changed. Is it true?

Thank You!

It is just a feedback sound to let you know whether you have un/plugged the AC adapter. I don't remember if there was a way to disable it, but you can try disabling post animation sound from BIOS and it might also stop this sound as well.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
