I was just wondering, would the the motherboard be able to sustain 40-45w of continous power to the cpu (R5 2500U) if lets say i added some heatsinks to the mosfets/chokes?

The R5 2500U has a base TDP of 15W, with a configurableTDP of 12-25W. Unless I am just completely out of touch, and especially on a laptop, you're never going to be able to safely nearly triple that level of power. Regardless of the heat dissipation I'm not sure the chip would survive?

Are you seeing 25W with your normal usage? I'm assuming you're power limit throttling and wanting more?

Its configured at 25w, and yes, thats the case (especially when gaming, power throttling is a real issue) I already got a few ideas to improve cooling & i know that the cpu can easily take it (since its basically a 2200g with low tdp, which can be overclocked to something like 4ghz cpu/1.6ghz on gpu on desktop)

I know its not a necessarily a gaming laptop, but 1.6-2.5ghz on all cpu cores & 5-900mhz on gpu while gaming, isnt really cutting it. (lower the cpu clock = higher the gpu can "boost" = higher fps)
    Like for example:
At "high performance" preset, cores hang around 2-3ghz while gpu is sitting at 4-600mhz & game runs at 40 fps
In "power saver" preset, the cores sit at 1.6ghz but gpu is able to boost to 8-900mhz & the game runs at 45 fps
CPU & GPU are both fighting for that 25w of power, which is really only enough for 1 of them

Plan is not to overclock, since the bios is locked & even if it was unlocked, i would just undervolt it, but just to increase power limits.
