Whenever I am listening to music or watching videos, the sound automatically gets lowered (the speakers volume level is unchanged). Sometimes it automatically gets back to it's normal loudness on it's own or when I restart the computer. This doesn't happen on earphones.
I have checked the "Do Nothing" for voice comms. (which is suggested when I google about this problem) but nothing happens :(
Any solution to stop this from happening?

Acer screwed up Dolby digital software. Or DD just have crappy software. When the microphone is used, it disabled sound enhancements from dolby. Disable mic and you won't face it again. Or enable Dolby back every time.

@Beingastan this usually happens on dolby when app's/games have their own sound coded go to control panel/sound advanced properties and disable the exclusive mode see if it helps i use DFX FX enhancer to boost the sound on mine and its awesome 2x more louder
