I just bought this laptop and I've been pretty happy with it except for the HDD speed. So I installed an M.2 SSD to it. When I went to the Reset This PC (or something like that) I was hoping that it would ask me the installment drive, but it didn't. It just simply deleted everything and installed it back to the HDD again.

Is there any way to Re-install Windows on the SSD without doing the Clone/Migrate OS thing? I don't know how reliable those software are and I don't even know a good one.

You can create a USB recovery drive.  After you create the USB recovery drive, temporarily disconnect your HDD so that you only have the SSD connected.  Reassemble the computer.  And then insert your USB recovery drive, and turn on  your computer and it will automatically boot your USB drive.  And then reset your PC .......and it will install Windows on the SSD.  After you successfully install Windows on your SSD, you can reconnect your HDD and use it as a data drive or backup drive.

Note: If you keep your HDD connected during the Windows installation, it **might** ask you where you want to install Windows, but if it doesn't ask you, you'll have to temporarily disconnect HDD.
Sometimes people run in to problems installing windows if they have multiple drives connected that have an EFI partition, so if you only have one drive connected when you install Windows, you won't face any problems.

You can also get vanilla Windows from link below, but that's optional and not necessary.
