Acer Predator 17 touchpad/keyboard issues.

I've had my Acer Predator 17 for a few months now. After the 1st month the touchpad and related buttons stopped working entirely. I didn't really pay any attention because i use a different mouse anyway but now the "Windows" button on the keyboard does not register. I play games in borderless windowed mode and its very frustrating that the windows button is now not accessible. I've checked the forums and see that several other people have a similar problem but none of them have and answers. Is there anything I can do to solve this without having to send the laptop back for repairs?

Hi,
Go to Device manager, expand Keyboards, right click Standard PS/2 keyboard, select Properties, go to Driver tab and uninstall the driver, reboot and let Windows install the driver.

I uninstalled the device and restarted. It did not fix anything. Window button and touchpad/toupad buttons still not operational.

It could be a hardware problem, it's better to send it for a service to Acer service centre in your region, if reinstalling the driver doesn't help you have to get it checked by a technician.
