Need help with bios

My system is all over the place, I can't find the correct settings or drivers for multiple items of hardware. Currently it says I'm running r02-b2 bios firmware, but I'm completely limited to what I can do with the bios settings, is there any way of unlocking advanced settings? I was hoping to upgrade RAM but with the current BIOS I cannot configure RAM XMP.

My drivers are also messed up, windows downloads very old drivers and I'm unable to update them due to my system not being recognized. I hope by finding the correct BIOS firmware I'll be able to upgrade my system back to working standards and in future upgrade.

In order for you to unlock some bios functions, you need to install a modified bios! However, this procedure is more risky, it is not recommended, because in addition to losing the warranty, your notebook can become a brick! I do not recommend that you do not install a modified bios!

On the drivers, the most correct way to update the drivers, is to copy the idhardware in google. However, there are programs like the driverbooster or driverpack that update the drivers, but it is recommended that you activate the system protection!

As @egydiocoelho said you will never have the bios unlocked acer and 99% of all manufacturers have the bios locked to the average user only acer support would be able to unlock it for their own purpose/repair/tweak, so regarding overclocking ram will never happen stick to what the mobo supports, you can unlock it yourself (i don't advise it) u would need a programmer do dump it directly from the bios chipset and after you got someone to mod it flash it again same way but first of all warranty would be gone and with a bit of luck you would brick it regarding the drivers issues never let windows install their own drivers to replace the acer pre installed ones always user acer drivers for you current model as they were customized for it
