How to rollback Nvidia Driver?

reaLEtyxreaLEtyx Posts: 16Member Troubleshooter
Hello, I need help as the new nvidia driver 4.17.22 has recently made all my games run at extremely low fps, and I was wondering how do I rollback to a older version.
I can not roll back in the device manager as it doesn't allow me to?

clean install, nvidia drivers won't roll back get older version and clean install it (if it's not broken don't fix/update it)

    Download this app:
    https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

Restart Windows while pressing "shift" button on the keyboard.
Select startup settings and press "4" when asked which option you want.
Now you are in Safe Mode.

In Safe Mode no drivers or apps are loaded.

While in Safe Mode use the above downloaded App to uninstall all Nvidia releated items (driver, GeForce experience, etc).

DDU will restart the system when it's done.

Now you can safely install a new (or older) driver.

You may try go to this website https://www.geforce.com/drivers

Then choose the driver u have and click search, after that, scroll down for the older version u need and download it
