Black Screen of Death??

 I am an online tutor, a while ago I opened skype and multiple tabs of google chrome at the same time, my computer suddenly displayed black screen right after minutes of lagging. I forced it to shut down by long pressing the power button, I reset the battery and restarted it. It went back to normal. I can't understand why that happened, I don't even know if I did the right thing. the computer didn't warn me. What was wrong with my computer? Should I get this replaced or what? I am paranoid right now because it's just a month old machine, I'm a light user and it started to act this way. By the way, my laptop is Acer swift 3 with i3 version of intel and 4 gb ram.

Hello,

I have the same issue during video calls since the latest version of Skype desktop (with Edge, Firefox same issue):

• Windows 10 1803, Skype desktop 8.34.0.81
• Black screen, weird sound through the speakers

For the moment, I press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart the laptop. I'm working on the event viewer file to find the solution. Don't worry we are not the only ones.
