hello, I have a Acer G276GL monitor and a few weeks ago I had some issues with the power button not wanting to power the monitor instead it was just flickering. After some time I managed to get the monitor working and it worked as usual until I powered it down again. When I went through my normal routine of trying to power the thing up to today I couldn’t get it working. I think that some wiring may have gotten lose hence the flickering but I’m not sure. You guys have any idea? It was bought like 4 years ago so warranty won’t cover it anymore.

Sure it's not a G276HL? That's the one I find when searching on the G276 line... In the HL there's a control board that has what looks like little switches that click when you press one of the buttons. You might have the mechanical side of the button hanging up on something, you might have the switch on the control boards failing and you might have the cable that goes between the control board and the main board broken or partially disconnected.

I have the same problem since yesterday on an Aspire XC-215. When plugged into the mains the power button starts immediately to blink, and when prerssed nothing else happens. Any ideas ??
