Hi.  I try to set password in bios for hdd1 which is Crucial MX200 SSD
HDD0 password will set and save.
After I save changes and exit bios, the password clears by itself!
Can someone help? Thanks.

You may try also setting & saving a BIOS supervisor password. Then reenter the BIOS menu with the supervisor password. Then try to set and save the SSD1 password.  Jack E/NJ

If I follow this method the HDD1 password still clears itself.

You may try to turn off secure boot. Then re-enter the BIOS menu to try to set SSD1 password. Usually, however it is only the primary boot drive that a password can be set. The secondary drive can't be accessed anyway if the primary drive can't be booted without a primary drive password.  It would seem to be redundant. Jack E/NJ

The password still resets upon saving changes and exiting with secure boot off.
HDD1 is my primary boot drive.

Then try first clearing the HDD0 password. Then re-enter the BIOS menu to see if the SSD1 password will stick. If that doesn't work, then temporarily disable HDD0 so that SSD1 will be the only drive the BIOS sees.  Jack E/NJ

I figured out the issue. The HDD I'm using doesn't support enabling password through bios or something like hdparm in Linux.
    Thanks for trying to help.
