Customer Complaint: What in the world is wrong with Acer Warranty Repair?!

I bought an Aspire E15 laptop as a gift for my dad in July brand new from Target.  I asked my dad about how he liked the laptop three months later and he told me that it stopped working after a couple days and he never bothered to tell me for some odd reason.  So I ended up taking it back to see what was wrong with it and it turned out there was something wrong with the hard drive. It was running at 100% disk usage on the factory copy of windows with nothing running in the background and took a solid 10 minutes to boot up.  He literally only used it to save his files and never downloaded a single thing on to the hard drive.  No problem I thought, because I knew the laptop came with a 1 year repair warranty.  I can rest assured that the laptop will be fixed.  I called customer support and they told me that I would have to pay to ship the laptop in to the repair center... whatever.  I pay the thirty dollars to get it shipped and waited two weeks for it to get back.  I open up the laptop and the repair form said they replaced the hard drive.  I turn it on and the same exact issue occurs.  Long boot up time right out of the box and then 100% disk usage...  Words cannot describe how annoyed I was at the fact that I paid thirty dollars to have my laptop shipped back to me with the same issue.  I called customer support and asked them to refund me my thirty dollars because I just wasted my money and got nothing in return.  The manager Samuel from tech support told me he can't do that and that the only thing he can do is send me a prepaid shipping label.  Wow go figure. He promised me that the technicians would get it repaired and made "notes" on the case number about my problem.  Frustrated I send in the laptop for round 2 and get it back two weeks later TO THE SAME PROBLEM RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX.  A solid ten minute boot up time literally unusable.  I call in to customer support once again and get the same bs from tech support saying that the only thing they can do is have me send it in again for repairs.  THIRD TIME.  Are the technicians even repairing laptops?  How can this happen two times in a row.  I asked if I could get a replacement laptop and he told me there was nothing he can do?  How many times do I need to send in a laptop for the same repair???  I'm out of options.

    Sorry to hear about your experience. Primarily the community is a place where members can exchange their own advice, ideas, articles with knowledge and troubleshooting techniques etc. The Acer community is not design for direct customer support consultation, or complaints. 

    This thread has already been escalated to the concerned Acer team. Kindly wait for them to take a look at this thread and respond.
