Display Port issue with Acer predator XB241H

Basically after my computer goes into sleep mode the screen resolution will change from 1920 x 1080 with 144 Hz to 800 x 600 with no option to change the resolution or Hz. As you can see in the image attached this is the message I get when I turn back on everything, and the only way for me to get back to the desired settings above is to shut down and restart my PC. Now I have today uninstalled the drivers in the image below and reinstalled them fully to make sure that it was not them that were causing the issue. I have not yet tried to get a DP to HDMI adapter but I don't think I should have to if there is a fix for this somewhere, but if all else fail's then that will be my only option. I seen somewhere somebody saying that my Hz is running too high so I lowered it down to 120 Hz but then I get a DP image flash on my screen whenever I ALT TAB out of a game which is frustrating.

If somebody know's of any fix for this I would be truly very appreciative.

Thanks

Edit: PC is a Alienware X51 R2 if that makes any difference.

Sounds like a driver issue. How did you uninstall, standard way or did you use DDU?
