Triton 700: What Happens If I Swap SSDs?

So one of my SSDs has been slowly failing, however I am still able to use my machine normally 80% of the time. It's in the factory RAID 0 config with two 256gb SSDs. I detailed the issue here:
https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/553940/predator-triton-no-bootable-drive-sometimes

So I'm going to experiment and open up the machine, take out both SSDs, give them  good blow or two, then swap them and stick them back in. Question is, will this work? Here are my steps:

1) create windows boot USB with acer backup tool
2) take out both SSDs
3) swap their positions
4) boot up from USB and restore windows
5) profit

I wanted to ask the community here if this is possible, or if it will mess everything up and burst into a ball of flames? The reason I'm doing this is to see if one of my SSDs is actually failing or if it's just a RAID config issue.

Thanks!
