Hello,
Currently, when I try to turn on my laptop, the fan starts up and then stops immediately. The light indicating that the computer is on turns on for about half a second, and then turns off. This cycle repeats about once every two seconds and only stops when I close the computer lid (holding the power button doesn't seem to work).
Earlier today, it was booting but the monitor would not show anything, which I fixed by holding power+F12 for 60 seconds before booting. I can't remove the battery from this laptop and I don't think it has a battery reset button.
I haven't installed anything new recently or modified any of the architecture on my system.

    (1) What is full ACER model number? The battery reset button would be a very small pinhole, usually on the bottom with a battery symbol. With the charge unplugged, gently press a paper clip into the pinhole to disconnect the battery for about 30 seconds. Allow the system to rest for 5-10 minuts. Then turn it back on.

    (2) If no pinhole, then press and hold the power button for ten seconds or until the laptop completely shuts off. Then turn it back on again.
