Hi, All:

Hope some of you may know the answer to this problem... I just bought a new Acer Predator monitor (XB321HK bmiphz 32-inch IPS UHD (3840 x 2160) NVIDIA G-Sync Widescreen Display).  After connecting it to a Windows 7 64 bit machine, downloaded and installed the latest driver from Acer website, I still can not change the resolution to more than 1920 x 1080.  However, according to the monitor spec and user manual, using HDMI connection can display resolution up to 2560 x 1080.  So how do I get it to display at a higher resolution than 1920?  Acer's user manual doesn't offer much help on this at all.

BTW, the driver from Acer is simply a zip file that contains a monitor profile text file, so I am not sure if it actually does change anything in Windows 7 since there's no installation. So I just run update the monitor in Windows Device Manager.  Since Windows 7 shows that it's an Acer monitor it uses, I assume it works correctly. But why the resolution stuck at 1920?

Thanks for any help and tips!

Bill
