Hi,

I want to buy a Acer Swift 1 SF113-31-P72F  for my girlfriend.
Is it extendable with a M.2 SSD?
As I read on Amazon, that it seems that the emmc models are glued and simply removing the nine screws is not enough to open it.
So, is the bottom glued additionally to the screws?
If yes, how did you opened it to add a M.2 SSD?

Thanks a lot, Alex

    Hi Jack22,

thanks but this was not helpful. I did not ask 'how to insert a M.2 SSD module' but it this specific module glued.

I found the answer myself: It' is not glued. As the aluminium is stuck together, one could think of that it is glued together. It could be opened with some plastic spoon of tools, but don't use metal screwdrivers.
