Hi there, my mother has an Acer Aspire ES1-533-C57P notebook that is about 12 months old, running WIndows 10. Just recently it has started becoming unresponsive after she leaves it idle for 10 mins. It won't wake when using the keyboard, the mouse or the trackpad and she has to do a hard restart using the power button. I've tried to find all the power management settings and disabled or set sleep times to > 2 hours but that hasn't made any difference. I did read some posts about draining the bios - I'm hoping I don't need to do that as I'm in a different state to the laptop and can only connect using Team Viewer to log into it. I haven't found anything else on your discussions that has fixed the problem yet. I haven't yet unistalled drivers although did a search for any new drivers but it said the best ones were already installed.
