I have the same laptop and recently installed a Ultimate SU800 M.2 2280 256GB SSD which i think is sata III and its working fine. I don't know if the laptop supports NVME.

are you planning to try nvme?

nope. its really expensive in my country and based on the youtube videos that i watched, the only benefit of having an NVME is more faster transfer rate speed if your planning to transfer larger files. so a sata III is sufficient for this laptop for me.

meaning if i just use m.2 sata ssd for os the loading times is the same as nvme? i just bought an m.2 ssd just for my os because having mechanical hdd as os drive is very slow..

maybe 2-5 seconds faster boot times than ssd sata but i dont think nvme is not worth it if your not doing any productivity work (editing big videos) transfer larger files.
