I went through the trouble of upgrading my PH517-61-R0GX to 64GB (4x 16GB). I wouldn't necessarily recommend this if you don't have a lot of time.

I had to figure things out as I went a long since I couldn't find a guide on line for disassembly beyond just taking off the back panels. But I was wondering, is there an official/unofficial memory upgrade guide somewhere?

    Thanks, this would have been really useful :)

    Is there also a guide on how to remove the heat sinks, etc to get to the motherboard?

    Good day;
    Can the motherboard be removed from the back to get at the other two sodimm slots?  How do I get this manual?  ACER is not very cooperative regarding information.  I have the PH517-61 but only 16gb ram.  I need 64gb.  Furthermore will Mushkin DDR4 2666 mhz sodimm work better or do I need 2400mhz?

    As far as i know it should work at 2400mhz. Must be some sort of bios limit.

    @Khelgar the service guide states that it only supports 2400mhz (the the system specs) i suspect its probably because of the ryzen cpu but then also states that these are all the supported and tested modules and some are 2666 so im not sure unless someone tests it properly as the intel variant supports 2666 as far as im aware
