So I brought a swift 1 from.argos and found it was very slow and kept on saying battery not detected. The screen wouldn't come.on unless the charger was in and it still said battery not detected. Of course I tried to return it and the guy there was really rude and quite condescending and said everything seems fine you can't return it. Went to another store and he looked at the back and asked when I got it I said Monday (12/11/18) and he said the date of this laptop indicated it's quite old it had a 2016 date. So did someone have the same issue and returned it? I don't know. So I spoke to the store manager at my local area and he said that they buy it but it doesn't get activated till now so it's left on the shelf? I don't know if I'm getting mugged off or what but any information on either of the two issues would be really useful!!

Sorry to hear about your experience. The best option is to contact Acer support in your region with the serial or SNID number of your device and check the details of the device. The support technician would be able to identify if the device is new or previously registered.
    "MFD" mean manufactured date.
