S7-393 No Sound

My sound has not been working for a good while now. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers and still nothing, what else could it be?

    Hi Cuzco520,
     Please try these basic troubleshooting to fix the sound issue.
     Check speaker settings.
    1)Right-click the sound icon at the bottom right corner of your desktop and click Playback devices
    2)In the Playback tab, make there is a green tick on Speakers. This indicates that your speakers are the default playback device. 
    3)If your Speakers are NOT already set as the default,  just click them, click Set Default, then click OK and test whether you have sound.

    4)If your Speakers are set as the default playback device, and you’re still not hearing any sound, you should try with different sound formats. To do this, click Speakers then Properties. 

    5)Go to the Advanced tab, and in the Default Format section, select a different sample rate and bit depth, then click Test. Repeat this process until you find a format that works, then click OK. If you don’t find a format that works,then try to update driver.


    Update Audio Driver

    If you have already uninstalled and reinstalled the audio drivers, please go ahead and update the audio driver.
    For this press windows logo key+ X(on keyboard).
    Click device manager from left panel.
    Under device manager right click on audio driver and click on update driver( update automatically)
    Else you can just go the http://www.acer.com/worldwide/support/
    Click on support/drivers and manual/ put in the snid number/ click Find
    Under drivers, look for audio driver and download the latest one on the computer.

    Restart computer and check sound. This should work.
