Hi, In the last or two my webcam image has become fuzzy (like it is dirty) and I am unable to find out how to fix this on the model of my laptop.  Now this week the audio has started to break up and goes from low to high and back again continually.  I have looked to see if I can update the drivers, but have not had luck finding them for my model and I am not sure this will work.  I have read previous issues that are similar, but still no luck.  Any suggestions please?  Thanks a bunch.  LaraM

Do you have Win8.1 or Win10? Jack E/NJ

What do you mean by update? Was this originally a factory installed Win8.1 machine that you updated to Win10? Jack E/NJ

I cant remember to be honest.  I think it was loaded with Win10.

LaraM OK. Do you remember approximately when you acquired the machine?  That would give me an idea of about when it came from the factory. Jack E/NJ

OK. Open Control Panel. Search for 'restore point'. Click 'create a restore point' in the left pane. Make sure protection settings are turned on. Click on the 'system restore' button. Click next. Checkmark 'show more restore points' if available. Is a restore point available around the date the cam got fuzzy? Jack E/NJ

Hi, Thanks for the reply.  Just to check if I restore, will I loose all the other updates and info and files since that date?  Lara

Yes. You should backup your personal files since that date. Other non-Win10updates must be re-done. Jack E/NJ
