Recently I bought an Acer Swift 3. Last week I paired it with a SonicGear headset (Studio V) via bluetooth. Though the computer and the headset both showed connected. But there was no sound from the headset. Can the Acer technical experts please advise? Thanks. Would very much appreciate if you can email me your solution.

    Hi Sugarfree,
Please try these steps to check if the sound issue gets fixed.
    1) Change the sound format

Right-click on the speaker icon in the taskbar and go to Playback Devices
Open your default playback device by double-clicking on it
    Go to Advanced tab
Now just change default sound format from the dropdown menu (experiment a little, because these settings aren’t same for all)
Next go to device manager and update the sound drivers in the computer.
    1) Press the windows logo key + X (on keyboard)
    2) Click the devicemanager  from the left panel.
    3) Click on arrow by the sound driver. Right click and update the drivers.( You can also update them by going through support.acer.com.)
Restart the computer and check if the headphone sound is working.
Please also use another port and check if this works.
If issue still persists go to next step.
    Disable all audio enhancements
    1. Right-click the sound icon in the taskbar
    2. Click Playback Devices
    3. Double-click your current playback device (headphones)
    4. Go to the Enhancements tab, and click Disable all sound effects
    5. Click ok, Restart computer.
    6. Now check. If not solved , go to next step.
    Disable Exclusive mode.
    1. Right-click the sound icon in the taskbar
    2. Click Playback Devices
    3. Double-click your current playback device (headphones)
    4. Head over the Advanced tab.
    5. Under the Exclusive Mode section, disable Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device.

    6. Click apply and ok.

Please let me know if these steps have helped in fixing your issue.
