I have been the happy owner of an acer aspire v nitro for a year. I have been playing games so far. But during some of them (Ac Odyssey) the cpu reaches 80 - 90 degrees. It is an i5 7300HQ.
I wish to ask your experience about the longevity of your acer gaming laptops under this condition.
Have you been using your laptop like this for long? It would be nice to hear it is alright.

Anything below 95*C for both GPU & CPU is normal. Jack E/NJ

Thanks for the answer. So it means you have been using for yours under those conditions and it is still in good shape?

Thank you. yes I also saw a few posts where people confirm it is normal. I just wonder if someone could share their actual experience. Like they have been using their acer with turbo boost on for years and they can withstand that temperature based on their actual experience.
I would love to use my laptop to its full potential, but im worried it may cause damage on the long run.
By the way thank you for the table!:)

Sorry. You won't find someone who's been using it for 'years'. Because the i5-7300HQ didn't exist before Jan 2017. You should probably not worry too much. :) Jack E/NJ

Ah yes sorry. I should make my question more general about the whole group of intel cpus for gaming laptops:) My bad.
Well I try not to worry. I just had another acer and it died I guess because of heat. However it is true to say I did not take good care of it (no thermal pasting, fans not on max speed while gaming, room temperature let loose lol) However this time with this laptop I go totally opposite. So Let's just hope it can endure the temps with turbo speed.
