So i just wanted to test my hdmi cable real quick. I connected the laptop to my TV and started a game on steam in 4K (rather irrelevant) while being on battery. The startup menu of the game was displayed correctly but then once loading of last save finished my laptop turned off. When i turned it back on and looked into logs, this is what i saw:

The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

Now i know this is probably a rare scenario - being connected to an external monitor while on battery and then turning on the game, but is this is really what should happen?

The laptop is PH 517-61, AMD Ryzen 7 (slightly upgraded, one extra SSD, HDD replaced to 7200 RPM, 2 extra 16 GBs RAM sticks).

BTW I had a restart while writing this post while on battery ;) But this time i saw a BSOD. What i saw on blue screen: "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" (apparently a network adapter driver issue).

Depends might not be that, what was the .sys that it gave the error if u don't know use nirsoft bluescreenview to see the error and which driver caused it seems to me it was a display driver crash but anyway check it and i wouldn't play any game on battery i never use battery as it's main purpose is only to add extra power to the A/C when this one can't provide enough in those more demanding games so i am always on A/C and gaming on battery really nod advisable maybe watching some movies or do some work might be ok but gaming no definitely a big no what seems to me that happened was the battery couldn't provide enough power as the cpu and gpu demanded more and ended up by crashing and will always do it usually it's always the gpu's fault as this is the one who demands more power when gaming
