I have an old PC ready to donate.  So, fortunately, there are no files that need to be saved.
I went to Settings->Update->Reset->blow away all files and (re)install Windows 10.  Result: failed with error code "undefined"
So, now I have a PC that won't boot.  I used another PC to load Windows 10 onto USB and try that.
I got to Install now->no key->Select Windows 10 Home->accept license->select type of install (upgrade or custom?)
Upgrade said invalid, so I tried custom->where do you want to install? and that is where I am.
The 'where do you want to install screen' provides 4 choices: Partition 0, 1, 2, 3  All 4 choices have the following error message:
Windows can't be installed to this disk.  The selected disk has an MBR partition table.  On EFI systems, windows can only be installed to GPT disks.
Any ideas where I go from here?  All I want is a disk wiped clean with Windows 10 bootable.

    Hi Bridgeman,
Please try Alt + F10 to see that if that helps to do the reset.
     Shut down computer completely.
Then Press and hold down the Alt key on keyboard, press power button just ones and immediately keep tapping F10, number of times until it states " Please wait" on the screen. (Make sure that you keep the alt key down all the while)
Ones you see please wait , let go off all the keys.
On the next screen choose Troubleshoot.
    Reset the PC.
Delete my files and fully clean the drive.
     This will take 1-2 hrs.
Please let me know if this fixed your issue

Refer to video below.  Run commands for all 4 partitions.

The key is to remove the old partitions during the install to allow the installer to recreate everything needed. If you just leave the old partitions in place it either errors due to not enough room or removes the C: partition and replaces it with the four needed partitions.
